We all hate the time where the heating bill arrives. Where you just hope it will be lower, but it only ever seems to be increasing. This is exceptionally high during the winter months. So, what are some proactive ways to lower our heating bills?

Firstly consider using a timer. Only allow your heating to turn on at certain points during the day. There is no need for your heating to be on when nobody is going to be home. There is also no need for your heating to be on when you are tucked up in bed for the night. We would recommend setting a timer to come on to heat your house in the morning when you wake up, and then the evening before you go to bed!

Another way you can proactively lower your heating bills is by only using hot water when necessary. When having a shower, do not wait a long time for the water to heat up as this will increase your bill!
